Q: What type of services does CABC provide?
A: CABC offers individualized applied behavior analytic (ABA) interventions to children and their families impacted by Autism in the form of 1:1 direct therapy, social skills training group, and parent coaching. CABC also offers behavioral consultation for group homes and day programs, as well as conducting Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE.) Q: Where do the services take place?
A: The 1:1 direct therapy could take place in the clinic, the home, and/or other community settings, e.g., a daycare center. The social skills training group takes place in the clinic. Q: How do I ensure the quality of services provided to my child/family?
A: Our clinicians are credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA.) Not only does the supervising BCBA provide regular supervision to the RBTs, but s/he is also in communication with the client/family for feedback. Q: How do I pay for services?
A: If you would like to utilize your health insurance benefits to cover for services. CABC is an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser/theBHPN, United Health Care, United Behavioral Health, and Optum. If your plan has PPO benefits and would like to utilize it, please contact us today and we will help you verify your benefits. CABC also accepts private payment. Q: How long does it take for my child to start receiving services?
A: If you are utilizing your health insurance to cover for services and it requires preauthorization, it could take six (6) to eight (8) weeks for our clinical team to commence treatment. Otherwise, the initial assessment should take up to four (4) weeks to complete, and the services could start shortly after the completion of the assessment. A: Our team members and clients’ health and safety are of the utmost importance to the Company; therefore, we consistently monitor our workplace and incorporate safety measures based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other government organizations. In line with those safety measures, we require our team members to wear PPE to prevent the spread of disease-causing germs and/or viruses, such as COVID-19.
